In desepration for a good time I gegged in on a girls night out to Ormskirk the other weekend. My bestie Jen advised that I should wear my new Asos Africa dress, as everyone else was wearing dresses too. Well I tried it on and I didn't feel comfortable, at least not in this chilly weather. So I went to my default colour: BROWN!
The colours and quality of the photos are inconsitent due to my fone taking a swim in the bath, but hopefully you can get the feel for the 90's look I went for :)
So I was sans scarf in the house, but the second I opened the front door I was like - NOPE! and ran upstairs to fetch my trusty Topshop Tinsel scarf <3
Here I am selfieing it up in The Court Leet toilets, oh yes.
Details:
Scarf - Topshop
T-shirt - Primark
Skirt - Alexander Wang X H&M
Tights - Topshop
Boots - Vintage, Marks & Spencer
Bag - Vintage, Pierre Balmain
So this was quite the sleek bodycon look with a little clunkiness with the square shape of the boots.
I can't remember what nail colour I was wearing, but on my short nails it would have been a colour so dark it would have appeared black haha!
Makeup:
Skin: Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Light
Eye Brows - Mac Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set Quiet Brunette
Eye Kohl - Mac Teddy
Eyeshadow - Mac Kid, Mac Wedge
Mascara - Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme
Cheeks (& Eyes) - Tom Ford Sahde & Illuminate Intensity 1
Lip Liner - Senna Pure Nude
Lipstick - Mac Verve (obviously!)
The look served me well enough, especially as soon as I hit the cobbled streets of Ormskirk I gave myself a nod for not wearing high heels!
The skirt is so comfortable, I look forward to pairing it with a baggier top and maybe with a high pony for a sportier look :)
