Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna

When i think about it, i've actually been a Rihanna fan for a good while now, and i used to have her Good Girl Gone Bad album on repeat back in 2007.
So a few years after that in 2011, when i first saw her perfume ad online, i was interested to see what mood this scent debut was going for.

And i loved the ad :)

However, my first experience spraying this in debenhams last year with my sister wasn't positive at all, it smelt like an overpoweringly strong sickly sweet cocktail.
(Though to be fair, I do think the second riri scent, Rebelle, was the worst offender at the sampling!)
So I thought I'd written Rihannas perfumes off! Yet a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to go and see Rihanna in concert at the MEN!
Outside the arena there were promo girls handing out flyers and temporary tattoos scented with her latest scent, Nude! So we had some fun with those :)

We both liked the smell, which worked for the best as the scent of Nude and sweat/beer/coca cola filled the MEN.
I decided that Nude was inoffensive and dupeable yet as it was a very wearable sweet scent, I figured i'd probably end up owning it.  It read on me as a sweet skin scent, and i'm interested in exploring skin scents.

My friend had the 100ml bottle of Reb'l Fleur in her bathroom.  I really like the bottle design, like a twisting glass vase. Since she had it and loved it i figured i'd give it another try. So my first Rihanna scent purchase turned out to be her original Reb'l Fleur, as it was going for an amazing price on ebay £6.50 plus £3.00 p&p for 30ml!
There's no doubt about it, it is very strong, so I'd say it's definitely in the going out perfumes category.
That said, im enjoying having it on in the day layered with my fruity body butters.  Usually I douse myself with plenty of applications of scent, but I'd even go as far to say you'll only need one spray of this. In that regard it's amazing value for money.  Too many sprays of this on your chest and it will probably make you sick/feel drunk!
I like that it's intoxicating though! As you can see from my picture, i've already used up quite a bit in the week i've had it.
It reminds me of spraying on perfume in a hot sweaty club bathroom when you've been drinking malibu.  Do you have any strange analogies for perfumes!?
A tip if you're finding it overpowering: spray the perfume on your neck/down your back!
