Through my Elle Insider subscription, I was able to apply for tickets to the exclusive shopping event for the Alexander Wang X H&M collaboration launch!
This was the party at Regent Street, London the night before the collection would launch in stores for general sale.

We were eager beavers, getting the train down from Manchester at midday, we had quiet a few hours to kill!
The store closed at 4pm to prepare for the event, so we decided to start to queue at 4. The 2 and a half hour wait nearly broke our backs but it was worth it!
When we were allowed in at 6:30pm, the store was full of the employees clapping, whopping and dancing - it was quite overwhelming being the first two customers through the door and having so many eyes on you!
Roxy picked up a drink, we went to the rails and started to casually look at the items.
In the blink of an eye suddenly we were surrounded by other shoppers and the bedlam began.
I'd picked up the yoga mat very cautiously, but by the time I'd crossed over to the duffel bags and seen there was only one left, the need for speed kicked in!
I'd lost Roxy by this point, so rather than try and look for her I carried on shopping, picking up things I knew she'd wanted to try too.
After we'd gathered most of what we'd had our eye on in womens, we headed up to see the menswear section.
It was absolute carnage!
I couldn't get into the cramped space that was allocated, overcrowded by eager men and women!
Down to the changing rooms for some changing room selfies ofc.
This is what I decided to wear for the event, my trusty Primark t-shirt and ASOS Peg Trousers :)
My lipstick was MAC Verve.
Some tough choices over what to get in the end, here are our bags of swag:
Followed by a yay we did it selfie!
We had a final mooch before we left.
Blurry pictures of a blurry good time!
Just as we were leaving we were nearly trampled by the papparazzi trying to get a picture of Ellie Goulding!
It was only 7:30pm by this point, but headed back Euston way for a rest.
Here's me having a breather in Ed's Diner:
A nice cozy train ride later, we were back in Manchester - yay!
HOME!
And Bean claimed the duffel bag!
