So it kind of felt like this release from Real Techniques happened really quickly!
One minute they're revealing the new Bold Metals collection, the next I'm seeing instagrams of the brushes already in Boots stores!
I'm not complaining of course, as it makes a change to the months in advance hype from most companies.
So the entire bold metals collection sold out online upon release, but I signed up for back in stock alerts and so snagged a few.
I had been using the deluxe crease brush for applying my concealer, though the brush was getting very worn and more scratchier everytime I washed it, so I was in need of a replacement.
Instead I decided to go for the 201 pointed crease eye brush from the new collection as it looked like a good alternative.
You can see that the head of the metal brush is smaller, a lot more tapered and compact.
The deluxe crease brush is 14.5cm in length and the pointed crease is 17.5cm approx.
Well as an alternative to the deluxe crease brush, I'm very impressed!
The bristles are indeed a lot softer and so it makes concealing less painful, plus the tapered tip makes application even more targeted.
