Beauts Dec Wk 49: Disney's FROZEN Snow Queen Elsa Inspired Look

Yesterday I went to see Disney's new film FROZEN, which is loosely based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale The Snow Queen.  I was captivated!  It's certainly made it into my Top 10 Disney movies :)  My favourite character was Anna, but as far as make-up inspiration goes, Elsa's glacial beauty is a stunning look that I think can very easily be replicated.  So I gave it a go for my girls night out last night!

Newness

Nars Blush in Deep Throat: a beautiful and very buildable colour I got with a recent 20% off code on ASOS :)
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in 7 Espresso Ink: I had wanted to get back into using a gel eyeliner for an everyday small cat eye.  I had used the BB black ink in the past and I couldn't fault it.  I'd heard MAC 's Blacktrack was the same so when i'd ran out of BB i'd purchased that, but on me it smudged unless I kept my eyes still after application and it also irritated my eyes.  I'd also fallen out with lining my eyes with black anyway, as because I'd started to wear less make-up, I felt that black looked too harsh on me.  So I figured i'd try the next shade down from Black in the Bobbi Brown range - Espresso, which is described as a black brown.  On application it was almost sheer when I used a very fine brush, I was actually expecting it to be darker.  Thankfully it layers very well so it's almost like a two in one product, as I can apply it for light definition or layer it up for a darker frame to the eyes.
